And what would that universal spirituality be? Terms like “higher power”, “the Source”, “the Universe”, “Trancscendence”, “the Absolute”, come to mind. If their use is not preferred by all, they’re often used in place of the more controversial term “God”. Consensus being unlikely, we’re looking for a meeting point here, a peaceful space of communication. A place where we get a sense of existing together with our fellow seekers of all spiritual paths.

Universal spirituality presupposes a recognition that “Revelation” is no religion’s excluvive monopoly. It’s a shared treasure. While it may be natural for anyone to hold their chosen path as the best,  it is also best to remind oneself that my fellow seeker on another path is as good as I am, and quite possibly further along than I am.
