Love comes and goes. Or does it? Ostensibly, in this world at least, we meet people, partners, friends and foes...only to part later on. Whether in this life or beyond, what about taking afresh look at unresolved issues we've left behind us?  Making up with enemies who could as well have been friends in different circumstances.

Stories of believers turning away from God. abound. So do stories of atheists turning to faith. Others remain adamant disbelievers till the bitter end. For them death is nothing more than the end of them, full stop, The body goes back to the earth it came from, as ashes or in a coffin. For such individuals relationships, harmonious or conflictual, are interrupted at death, once and for all. For their loved ones who stay alive in morning, things are likely to be more difficult. They may go on talking to the deceased in case, and in hopes, that (s)he is still alive somewhere, and capable of hearing prayers and getting messages.

Testimonies of NDE tell us the opposite. While experiencers were hearing loud and clear (often telepathically) the messages from kins and friends, it was their own attemps to communicate back that had suddenly become impossible. This sounds like when you're on the phone saying, "Hello, I'm here, have you all gone death? Deceased people can simply not be heard from this side. But they can hear you alright. Let's call it a fact of life... and death.

Does this mean your relationship with the departed is broken? Communication is one thing and yes, it does break down. Love goes on according to NDE experiencers, and according to all religions for that matter. We get to be greeted by certain deceased friends and relatives shortly after passing into the afterlife according to them.

Chico Xavier, a saintly man widely known as Brazil's greatest medium, author of Nosso Lar, a global best seller made to film. channeled a series of 13 books purported to be directly transcribed messages from a certain Andre Luis.
